Welcome to the

Liquid Lifelines Experience

Uncovering a Global Issue

To address and mitigate the pressing issue of water scarcity on a global scale. Addressing the various issues such as Access to
Clean Water, Economic Consequences, Sustainable Development Goals,
Humanitarian Perspective and many more

Tone of Voice

My tone of voice for the project will aim to mix many feelings to create an impactful approach towards the viewer I plan to mix an empathetic, educational, and urgent approach into the project. Main points are translated to the viewer throughout my space

Realising the impacts

Every continent has a level of water scarcity to some degree, whether it’s a day to day problem or just a risk of eventually
running out. Even in 2023 over 28% of the planet still can’t rely on clean drinking water as a human right

Walkthrough

To the left is a walkthrough video of the virtual exhibition. Throughout this, the camera will take you into every room in the exhibition, showcasing each continent and how it can relate to global water scarcity. In each room there are statistics and facts on the back wall that explain briefly what the level of water scarcity is in that continent.

Finally, as the camera reaches the end of the exhibition, you will be transported into a charity room, stating factual information on how six leading water charities help with the global issue.

Europe

The first room inside of my exhibition space was the continent of Europe which has the lowest level of water scarcity in the world. I have decided to show Kielder reservoir which is the largest man-made reservoir in Europe.

Also, I have added information on the back wall and a map of where it is located in Europe. A boat was also produced in a separate C4D file to add into the space.

Here you can explore my European room for yourself using my 360 render produced using Momento360.

Europe Infographics

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here are the two I designed for Europe. One visualises the amount of water consumed in one day in the top seven countries and the other states the top European countries that are at risk of water scarcity in 2023.

North America

The next continent within the exhibition was North America. In this room, I have decided to showcase Niagara Falls, as this is a large tourist attraction that relates to the use and overall wastage of water.

Like my European room, I have added facts and figures within the room in the form of two infographics and the scarcity level on the back wall.

North America Infographics

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here are the two I designed for North America. One visualises the North American states with the highest risk of water scarcity and the other states general facts about water wastage in North America.

South America

My South American room showcase the Amazon river and rainforest, specifically the section that runs into the country of Peru, one of the most water scarce countries of the continent.

There is a lot of detail that has gone into this room to give it a different feel to the somewhat ‘secure’ continients before.

South America Infographics

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here are the two I designed for South America. One visualises the South American countries with the highest risk of water scarcity and the other states the 3 biggest causes of water scarcity in South America.

Asia

Within the Asian room in the exhbition, I wanted to get across that this is where the water scarcity level starts to get serious. The bar is now at a 15% chance of severe water scarcity in Asia.

The environment itself is based on the Arabian Peninsula in the country of Yemen, which is known to be one of the most water-scarce places within the continent.

Asia Infographics

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here are the two I designed for Asia. One visualises how one of the most water scarce countries in Asia, India will run out of water by 2050 and the other states the top nine countries with the most water scarcity in Asia.

Africa

The final room that is based on a continent in my exhbition space is Africa. This is the continent with the most water scarcity on the planet.

Within the room, I have decided to showcase a town in Somalia called Mogadishu. This is one or if not, the most water-scarce place on the planet. I looked at photos of Mogadishu for reference and created my space guided by the elements that I saw.

Africa 360 Render

Africa Infographics

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here are the two I designed for Africa. One visualises the biggest withdrawers of water in Africa over a recent 20 year period and the countries with the most water scarcity in Africa.

Charity room

Finally, I thought that it would be a good idea to include some sort of solution within my space to show viewers that there are organisations and people working out there in order to solve this issue.

Within this room, I have created a space featuring an abundance of water, along with a tree placed in the center to symbolise growth within this serious global issue.

Six of the different biggest water charities are featured within this room and a short description is placed under each logo in order to put some context to the charities.

Charity Room infographic

I have produced infographics to be included inside of each room. Here is the one I designed for the Charity room. The infographic states information of some of the worlds biggest charities that help with solving global water scarcity.

Catalogue and Packaging

For this module, we also had to create a catalogue to go with the space and brand. My idea was to produce each page of the catalogue as a water drop shape. This worked really well when dropped into my water drop shaped packaging, also rendered below.

Plan View Map

Here is the main map guide to help you on your visit to the Liquid Lifelines exhibition. The map points out key information about pieces that are featured in and around the immersive space. These include infographics about each continent and information on the walls of each space. There is also a clearly mapped arrow to show visitors the route that they can take through the space…

Invitations

Each viewer who is invited along to the Liquid Lifelines exhibition will receive an invite looking like this. All that is required is a signature to confirm your attendance at the exhibition.

Main Posters

Below is the main posters that has been used to advertise the Liquid Lifelines exhibition. One features a tap dripping with the tagline “Save Water = SAVE LIVES.” The poster also included a QR code that you can scan to visit the Liquid Lifelines website. A poster has also been produced to represent the global water crisis with the red and unique texture to differentiate it from the other poster.
